Panini-ers

I unglued my eyelids early this morning after staying up crazy late (got home from the party at 1, watched “Have You Heard About the Morgans?” until 2:30) to go hiking at Rancho San Antonio with my parents. The weather was great and it was the first time I’ve done anything even closely resembling exercise since my minor surgery.

Afterwards, we headed to Los Gatos to eat at the Purple Onion. That place is so cute; I just wish it had more outdoor seating. You have to be a circling vulture to nab any of those sunshine spots.

My mom and I split a Thai chicken salad and a prosciutto and mozzarella panini.

My dad got the chicken taco salad.

While the salads were certainly attractive, the panini blew them out of the water flavor-wise.

I just returned home to an empty house, since the boys are out. I took a nice long shower, and then sat down to find that my submission the the Healthy Living Blogs directory went through. Neat-o! I’m excited to see if I can befriend some local bloggers :).
